Litigation Risk Insurance Analyst

What the day will look like

Our North America Transaction Solutions team is looking to add an Analyst to our industry-leading Litigation Risk Group, which places insurance to protect parties from exposure to litigation-related risks. This role will have an important and direct impact on the financial results of this dynamic, fast-growing and high-profile business, and you will help empower results for our clients by assisting the brokers in the Litigation Risk Group each of whom is a former practicing commercial litigator with all aspects of the insurance placement process, from identifying potential prospects for coverage to actually binding such coverage.

+ Support senior brokers on day-to-day deal tasks and other long-term projects

+ Prepare analyses for private equity and corporate clients and insurance carrier meetings

+ Complete ad-hoc business development and innovation initiatives

+ Conduct benchmarking and track economic and market developments

We are looking for a mid-level Analyst to assist the senior team members track and analyze data, support process and deliverables in insurance placements, and ultimately serve in a junior broker capacity. This position will also gain exposure to Representations and Warranties and Tax insurance for a well-rounded career experience across the full M&A solution set.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

+ 2+ years of professional experience/internships in Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics

+ Skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

+ Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimal supervision

+ Effective presentation, reporting and communication skills

+ Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multi-task

+ Ability to attain a Brokers License in first year of employment

Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent years of industry experience.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $65,000 to $80,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicants education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
