Pediatric Occupational Therapist Are you a licensed Occupational Therapist? Are you looking for an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Utahn families and children? The Baby Watch Early Intervention Program is looking for a motivated individual to fill the open role of Pediatric Occupational Therapist . PRINCIPAL DUTIES The Pediatric Occupational Therapist: Follow through on assigned referrals by providing evaluation, assessment, eligibility determination, and Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) development. Make recommendations to families on developmental skills in the areas of gross motor, fine motor, social and emotional, cognition, speech/language/communication, self-help, and adaptive skills. Maintain an assigned caseload incorporating research based intervention activities into daily routines that best facilitate child and family driven outcomes as well as coach parents to learn and follow through with interventions. Ensure all required documentation is complete, accurate, and timely while supporting families through the transition process before the child ages out of Baby Watch Early Intervention services. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE The ideal candidate will have: An active Occupational Therapist license Previous Part C Early Intervention experience A knowledge of a family-centered service delivery model An ability to write and create professional trainings and presentations Knowledge of early childhood development, specific to birth to 3 years Experience working with a multidisciplinary team A valid Driver License without restrictions PREFERENCES Preference may be given to candidates with: One or more years pediatric experience with children and families WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN OUR TEAM If you want to enhance early growth and development in infants and toddlers, who have developmental delays or disabilities, there is no better place to be than the Baby Watch Early Intervention Program . There is an Opt-Out Cash Benefit option for those that have other medical insurance coverage. 5 dental plan options, with an Opt-Out Cash Benefit option for those that have other dental insurance coverage. 4 vision plan options under EyeMed or OptiCare Retirement - Utah Retirement Systems (URS): Employees who have any service credit with an employer covered by the Utah Retirement Systems prior to 7/1/2011 are in the Tier I Public Employees System. Employees hired on or after 7/1/2011 and who have never been in the URS retirement system have two options for retirement in the Tier II System. Tier 2 Hybrid Retirement System. Employer contributes an amount equal to 10% of your salary between both plans (pension and 401(k)) Tier 2 Defined Contribution Plan. Employer contributes an amount equal to 10% of your salary to a 401(k) plan only. Employer contributions to your 401(k) are vested after four years. Paid Time Off: Annual leave and sick leave are accrued at 4 hours per pay period each (4 hours annual, 4 hours sick). Annual leave amounts increase with years of service. We have 12 paid holidays. This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position that is scheduled Monday - Friday with hours typically being between 9:00AM - 6:00PM. However, hours may require some flexibility to accommodate clients' needs. Due to this position requiring travel via motor vehicle, candidates will be required to have a valid Driver License. Mileage reimbursement is offered for use of personal vehicle. Risks which require the use of special safety precautions and/or equipment, e.g., working around operating machines, working with contagious diseases or hazardous chemicals, etc. Work requires physical exertion. May require the ability to stand; walk over rough surfaces; bend, crouch, stoop, stretch, reach, lift moderately heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) in a recurring manner and/or for long periods of time. #J-18808-Ljbffr
