PrideStaff is conducting a search for their Hudson area client for an experienced Human Resource Generalist.The Human Resource Generalist will be a key member of the leadership team at this service company. The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource department including talent acquisition, payroll, benefits, safety compliance, documentation and compliance, employee relations, and general HR support functions.An ideal Human Resource Generalist candidate for this position will be a someone who can work independently, has a bachelor's degree in HR or Business Administration, obtained a SHRM certification and has someone with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions
  • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Administers compensation, benefits, and leave programs
  • Oversees disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, and performance and talent management
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies
  • Manage the equipment ordering, distribution and usage of company tools and equipment

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required or equivalent work experience.
  • At least five years of human resource experience required
  • 1 year of human resources management experience preferred
  • SHRM-CP a plus
