To ensure that our services remain a core part of our offering, Rakuten Advertising is looking for an experienced Product Manager to refine and productize new and existing service offerings that complement our cutting-edge technology so that our clients can continue to achieve their affiliate, influencer, and other digital marketing goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Product Manager, Affiliate Services Lead will play a leading role in building out our portfolio of strategic and technical services that deliver rapid growth for our affiliate and influencer offerings. To accomplish this, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing Rakuten Advertising's client services offering strategy in alignment with our portfolio of products and services.
  • Identifying new opportunities for our strategic and advisory services by collecting and analyzing market data, conducting customer research, and testing new services in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
  • Drafting the vision, strategy, and execution of our services and helping to define our product roadmap.
  • Collecting customer, sales, and marketing feedback to refine service offerings in-flight and maximize adoption.
  • Instituting agile-like processes to develop concepts and roadmaps and synthesize user insights into actionable requirements, user stories, and specifications.
  • Analyzing metrics to inform product success and evolution to ensure our services provide an exceptional experience.
  • Implementing operational excellence by building processes around a robust analytics set that supports high service quality.
  • Collaborating with product marketing and other stakeholders on the GTM strategy that encompasses Rakuten's ecosystem of sister companies and partners to drive adoption across shared global clients.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in digital advertising or client services in a B2B environment.
  • Program management and cross-functional/cross-business execution experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of Product Management or Consulting Experience, including uncovering customer insights, defining services' value proposition, setting pricing, and testing and launching new services across regions.
  • Collaboratively and objectively assesses benefits, costs, and viability of proposed services and drives alignment across a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas to the senior leadership of Rakuten and customers.
  • Experience in supporting sales and solutions architects.
  • Proven track record in engaging and managing B2C clients in diverse profiles (large-multinational, small-local) and various industry/verticals.
  • BS/BA degree - technical field preferred.
  • Experience working in the ad tech space; affiliate marketing a plus but not required.
