Housing Assistance is seeking a dynamic & passionate Director ofCommunity Engagement to join our team. This role will develop &implement strategies to engage residents & stakeholders, buildrelationships with local organizations, & represent Housing Assistanceat various events. They will manage & grow our volunteer program,including recruitment, training, & retention, & coordinate large-scalevolunteer activities. Essential Functions Community Engagement Develop & implementcommunity engagement strategies to involve residents, stakeholders, &potential beneficiaries in Housing Assistance?s mission & programs.Establish & cultivate relationships with local community groups,nonprofits, & grassroots organizations to build support & exp& theorganization\'s outreach. Represent the organization at communityevents, meetings, & conferences, promoting awareness of our mission,services & opportunities for engagement. Required Qualifications, Education, & ExperienceBachelor\'s degree in communications, public relations, communitydevelopment or a related field. Proven experience (5+ years) incommunity engagement, volunteer management, or a similar role within anonprofit organization. Excellent relationship-building skills with theability to engage & collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Exceptionalcommunication skills, including public speaking & presentation skills.Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail. Skilled atcoordinating events & meetings. Demonstrated experience in organizing,conceptualizing, & prioritizing objectives & managing a high-volumeworkflow office. Proficiency with use of e-mail, word processing,spreadsheet, database, & presentation software & use of the Internet.Preferred Qualifications Experience in community organizing,facilitation, & engagement strategies.
