Responsibilities:- Utility coordination, review of roadway plans and utility work schedules, utility agreements, and multi-discipline and inter-company coordination.
Qualifications:
The Senior Utility Coordinator shall have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ideally 10 years of experience performing utility coordination in accordance with FDOT standards, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of the FDOT plans production process and utility coordination practices,
- Knowledge of FDOT agreements, standards, policies, and procedures.
- A strong background and experience in Alternative Delivery (i.e. Design Build) would elevate the candidate in the selection process
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills including technical writing skills and ability to handle one-on-one meetings with utility owners
- Ideal candidate will have an assertive task-focused attitude

The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
