If you want to make an impact on a global scale, come make a difference at Fiserv. **Job Title** Data Conversion Programmer **What does a successful Data Conversion Programmer do at Fiserv?** You will be a part of a team who works directly with new clients to convert their existing credit card portfolios onto Fiserv processing platforms. The team is comprised of project managers, data analysts, and conversion programmers who perform the initial review of a converting client’s data files. This team develops extensive reports to analyze data and develop technical specifications to convert the data to the client’s specifications; they write conversion programs and assist with the testing processes. **What you will do:** + Program complex technical requirements for conversion programs + Responsible for the technical data conversion programming + Debug complex code and processes + Partner with data conversion analysts and business analysts to identify business needs and appropriate technical solutions + Create data conversion mapping programs and processes + Ensure quality of data conversion output like data, files, reports, statements, plastics, including holding quality inspections + Validate offline system and output testing of data conversion files + Deliver and execute conversion project milestones for the full project life cycle from initiation through project closure **What you will need to have:** + 3+ years of COBOL, Mainframe applications, and IBM JCL/TSO/TPX experience + 3+ years of converting to new processing platforms, preferred + 3+ years of Microsoft Office Suite experience, particularly Excel and SQL + 1+ years of expertise in comprehensive testing, validation, and financial balancing of outputs and reports + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and military experience **What would be great to have:** + Experience with Fiserv Optis production programming and credit card issuing industry + History of successful platform conversion projects + Demonstrated ability to thrive in rapid change scenarios + Commitment to collective success and a strong, supportive team mindset + Proven risk management prowess with decision-making informed by data \#LI-IH1 This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New York or Washington. _Please note that salary ranges provided for this role on external job boards are salary estimates made by outside parties and may not be accurate._ Thank you for considering employment with Fiserv.
