SAIC is seeking a Product Owner to support the U.S. Air Force's Technology, Application, Development, and Sustainment Program (TADS) in modernizing the Department of Defense's premier weather data center, providing environmental intelligence globally. Our team is developing and sustaining systems critical to the Air Force's global weather analysis and forecasting mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a servant leader to the team, removing impediments and providing subject matter expertise.
  • Help shape product vision, prioritize backlog using the theory of constraints, and facilitate team collaboration.
  • Provide product feedback within an empowered, cross-functional team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 14 years of experience or 18 years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Ability to communicate and have crucial conversations concerning aspects such as priority.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban, Lean).
  • Core understanding of the Theory of Constraints.
  • Ability to shape Epics and Stories and corresponding acceptance criteria.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery concepts and enabling tools.
  • Must have or be able to obtain CompTIA Security+ or 8570 IAT II equivalent.
  • Must have active TS/SCI Clearance.
