Adams and Martin Group is seeking a Sr IP Docketing Specialist to join a law firm in downtown Minneapolis. This is a direct hire opportunity with a remote work model (only local applicants will be considered).

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage the docketing system, ensuring all IP deadlines are accurately recorded and monitored.
  • Docket patent and trademark filings, prosecution deadlines, and maintenance/renewal fees.
  • Review and analyze incoming correspondence from IP offices and foreign associates to update docket records accordingly.
  • Manage and track patent annuities, ensuring timely payments and renewals.
  • Coordinate with clients and foreign associates to ensure annuity instructions are clear and deadlines are met.
  • Utilize Foundation IP patent management software to input, track, and manage IP records.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding docketing inquiries and updates.
  • Develop and implement docketing procedures and protocols to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of IP docketing experience, with a strong focus on patent docketing.
  • Experience with trademark docketing is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing patent annuities is required.
  • Proficiency in using Foundation IP patent management software is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. and international patent and trademark laws, regulations, and filing requirements.
