DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations is currently looking for a Process Engineer to join their team. This role will work to build efficient and scalable processes and systems including ERP, Engineering, Industrial, and Manufacturing at DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations' Project Support Service Center. This person will be required to work with various groups, departments, and cross-discipline teams to help maximize productivity and position the company for future growth.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Auditing / analyzing existing processes and identifying areas for improvement in order to maximize efficiency and productivity while minimizing waste and costs.
    • Identifying any process gaps that may exist within the organization.
    • Designing, assisting, and implementing new processes identified to satisfy organizational and operational needs for efficiency and quality.
    • Recommending project priorities through valuation methods.
    • Application of DMAIC principles for continuous improvement.
    • Work with the ERP team to help diagnose, fix, and prevent ERP issues.
    • Maintain the organization's Help Desk system, especially with regards to our ERP system.
    • Provide basic troubleshooting and testing for applications and processes.
    • Maintain and monitor installed systems to ensure high levels of availability.
    • Assist the teams in system upgrades and testing.
    • Develop BAQs and reports for system monitoring and reporting.
    • Conducting risk assessments.
    • Assisting in auditing, maintaining, and creating procedures.
    • Tracking progress and schedules for implementations and system development projects.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
    • BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical preferred), Computer Science/Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience
    • 5+ years of experience in process design, implementation, and maintenance
    • Ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams
    • Team player with ability to learn new systems and processes
    • Excellent analytical and math skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (PREFERRED):
    • Six Sigma Training
    • Experience in the application of engineering process control principles and a strong understanding of systems and equipment.
    • 5+ years of experience with an ERP system.
    • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (production or floor management or engineering experience preferred)
    • 1+ years of experience with SSRS Reports, including administration and report design
    • Reporting experience, including SSRS, Epicor RDDs (Report Data Definitions), Epicor BAQs (Business Activity Queries)
