Shift: 2nd Shift (Mon-Thurs 3pm-12am, Fri 10am-2pm)
Training: Willingness to train on 1st or 2nd shift for the first 1-4 weeks.
Starting Wage: $19/hr, based upon experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler 2 to join our team. This position is essential for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products, working in a cleanroom environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in assembly and packaging within the medical field and will be comfortable working in a sterile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform sterile packaging of spinal implants.
Conduct visual inspections of implants for surface defects, such as water spots, debris, and discoloration.
Use Tappi charts for visual inspection.
Perform basic assembly of sterile pouches into boxes.
Apply medical labeling to boxes using adhesive labels.
Operate shrink wrapping machines.
Enter data into computer systems to close work orders and enter quantities.
Understand and adhere to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Follow printed routers accurately and maintain good handwriting for documentation.
Adapt to specific job assignments as workflow and daily requirements change.
Requirements:
Experience:
Prior assembly and packaging experience in the medical field.
Prior cleanroom gowning experience.
Proven track record of working effectively in a team environment.
Skills:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Good handwriting and ability to follow printed instructions accurately.
Other:
Reliable personal transportation to and from our facility.
History of excellent attendance, including punctual start times and minimal missed days.
Working Conditions:
The position requires working in a cleanroom environment, adhering to strict cleanliness and safety protocols.
