Comprehensive Ophthalmologist Eye Specialty Group (ESG) is seeking full-time Board Certified, or Board Eligible, Comprehensive Ophthalmologists who are interested in making a difference. This is a high volume, fast paced multi-location Practice with three surgery centers that span throughout TN, MS, and AR. Our multi-sub-specialty practice currently has 7 Ophthalmologists and 8 Optometrists. For over 50 years ESG has been, and continues, to be, committed to ethical and excellent care for our patients. Our practice is Physician-Owned, NO PRIVATE EQUITY. ESG is based in Memphis, TN which is a vibrant and exciting city with a population base of over 1.5 million. This is a diverse and exciting community that offers its residents great food, great entertainment, and a host of family friendly neighborhoods in either traditional Memphis settings along the mighty Mississippi River or spacious golf communities in the suburbs. Ophthalmologist Duties and Responsibilities: Diagnoses, assesses, and treats a wide range of eye conditions, diseases, and disordersPerforms comprehensive eye examsSurgery and medications as needed – No primary eye careHigh surgical volumeAdvises patients on eye health, vision correction options, and lifestyle changesMonitors patient progress and makes necessary adjustments to treatment plansKeeps patient records up-to-date and reviews medical historiesWorks collaboratively with other medical professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients Ophthalmologist Requirements and Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degreeBoard certification in OphthalmologyValid state medical licenseExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsKnowledge of the latest ophthalmology treatments and technologiesAbility to work in a fast-paced, patient-centric environmentCommitment to high quality patient care and service E/O/E #J-18808-Ljbffr
