Regional Sales Manager

Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneDuties/Responsibilities:Use existing Business relationships to obtain new business.A focus on asset tracking/Lone worker remote worker in wireless or Satellite or both preferredIdentify opportunities and risks to new business within all vertical markets, such as oil & gas/utilities, forestry, maritime transportation, oceanography research and FED/SLED government.Identify and maintain a target list of potential, direct Business and partner opportunities using secondary research, consulting sales and marketing, attending sector trade shows, and other relevant sources.Qualify leads through research, phone interviews, and face-to-face meetingsProvide hardware forecast to management on a quarterly and annual basisTarget and gain input on trade shows that would benefit Globalstar product segment in the Asset tracking and Remote worker Safety spaceExpand distribution to exceed sales goals as defined in the Quarterly Sales Commission PlanWork with Marketing and Sales leadership to provide feedback on product improvements and suggestionsTrain and assist direct customers and partners in sales and marketing activitiesMaintain sales reports in CRMParticipate in quarterly sales conferences, and provide support to other field sales personnel as directedHandle all potential customer inquiries and issues with a focus on promoting Globalstar products and services, using defined sales techniques and processesRequired Skills/Abilities: Detail oriented with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAbility to act independently and as part of a large teamExcellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and quotasSelf-motivated with excellent analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication (both written and oral), organizational and interpersonal skillsEducation and Experience:Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience6+ years of Asset tracking/Remote worker safety in field sales and sales management experienceExperience with sales and marketing in Asset tracking/Remote worker safety marketsProven experience in vertical markets such as Asset tracking/Remote worker safety.Understanding of the telecoms industry; ideally satellite communicationsExperience in scaling business through partnersExperience in direct acquisition of customersProven track record of sales results and revenue growthPhysical Requirements: Ability to travel as required, moderate to extensive travel - when travel restrictions are liftedAbility work remotelyEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
