AddThis Sharing Buttons We have an opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to join our Local Authority Team, supporting a team of 4 Field Based Sales Consultants who cover an area across the South of the UK. The team sell Stairlifts and Home Lifts suited to the clients needs; providing safe solutions and delivering high standards of customer care.

The role is to maximise and leverage the potential Local Authority sales opportunities, being responsible for the profitable achievement of sales targets as defined by the Company. Raising skill levels within the team to develop a world class high performing team; ensuring that we continually improve the LA customer experience.

Ideal Candidates will have a proven track record within managing a sales team, able to set clear goals and expectations, whilst managing sales performance through coaching and developing their team. You will have a track record within sales and account management, with a customer focus, able to develop relationships with customers, clients and suppliers.

The role offers a vehicle and a competitive salary, overnight stays may be required depending on business needs.

**Responsibilities:**

* To lead, develop and motivate a team of field sales consultants.

* To contribute and achieve forecast sales.

* To manage team and individual performance.

* To develop and maintain productive long-term personal relationships with existing LA stakeholders.

* To continually look for ways to build new relationships and prospect for new opportunities.

* To fully support and contribute towards the activities of the LA Bids & Tender Team

* To positively support and participate in any business development, training or project activity.

* To proactively engage with your peers to promote and contribute towards inter team harmony and achievement of national objectives.

* To fully understand the sales, Key account process and contractual requirements of LA market.

* To gain a thorough understanding of Stannah Stairlifts and competitor products.

* To be able to personally sell and to train your team to be competitive in a price sensitive environment.

* Ensure that we deliver a high customer experience to end users and stakeholders.

* To develop the skill to survey staircases, to train and develop others.

* To maintain the highest standards of professionalism, honesty, trust, integrity.

* To constructively and pro-actively support Sales Management to achieve Company Sales Objectives and Tasks

* Blended working environment.

**Education and Qualifications**

* GCSE English Grade C or above
