Help Desk Analyst

TRG is seeking an experienced Help Desk Analyst to provide Program Support to the Military to Civilian Transition Office (MCTO).
The Military-Civilian Transition Office (MCTO) requires programmatic research, analysis, assessments, product development, document drafting, recommendations, coordination, synchronization, and analytic support services for Service members preparing for their next step in life - whether pursuing an additional vocational trade or higher education, finding employment in the public or private sector, or starting their own business; or Reserve Component (RC) members and their families adjusting to pre- and post-activation, mobilization or deployment. MCTO designs cohesive, modular, outcome-based training, events and courses that bolsters and standardizes the opportunities, services, and training to promote effective and efficient support of transitioning Service members and members of the National Guard and Reserve, their families, and communities worldwide.
Work will be performed directly at the customer facility in Alexandria, VA (The Mark Center - )
Security Clearance: Ability to meet adjudication guidelines to maintain a critical non-sensitive billet (Tier 3/Tier 3R Investigation)
Travel: Minimal to moderate Travel - CONUS
Core hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm EST.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier I help desk support to the DoDTAP website; monitor and track all user inquiries.
- Develop professional PowerPoint briefings, reports, user guides, and memos that describe changes to the TAP IT Business System, user interface and functionality changes (e.g., convey pending requirements for modification to the IT Business System in layman's terms to the users of the system), and findings and interpretation of analysis and evaluation of data related to the TAP IT Business System.
- Support includes researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and assessing performance trends.
- Provide answers to clients by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding clients through corrective steps.
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in a related field tied to Information Technology.
- Required: A minimum of 5 years of experience providing Tier I Help Desk Support.
- Required: US Citizenship
- Preferred: Military Veterans that live locally.
- Preferred: Previous experience working within the Military to Civilian Transition Office (MCTO).
- Experience developing professional PowerPoint briefings, reports, user guides, and memos.
- Experience conducting data analysis and evaluation of that data.
- Experience working with IT business systems. Excellent written and oral communications.
- Expert level user with MS Office products.
