A job to be proud of: St John WA have an existing opportunity for an experienced Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Coordinator to join our State Control & Logistics department on a Permanent Full-Time basis. You’ll be part of a highly skilled, committed and collaborative team that together provide crucial and highly valued services to the rest of the organisation. The Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and processing of all St John WA motor vehicle accident claims in a timely manner. What you’ll do: Ensure St John WA Motor Vehicle Accident claims are processed with the Insurer in an accurate and timely manner Ensure all MVA claims are tracked and recorded into a centralised folder Manage claims using the appropriate external and internal specialist to achieve the settlement outcome efficiently and effectively Process claims in line with set procedures and policies, ensuring that claims are documented correctly, and resolved with a prompt and effective outcome Coordinate directly with the Insurer and ensure all relevant documentation is provided to streamline the claims process Be the key liaison between internal stakeholder and Insurer for any information gathering required for the Insurer Create internal procedures for the claims process Ensure compliance of repairs are maintained to a high standard Develop reports on trends of incidents to assist with targeted training and awareness What you’ll need: Experience in motor vehicle claims or accident management experience Background in corporate, health, community or commercial based sectors Knowledge of systems, tools and process within the ambit of this position Good problem solving and organisational skills High attention to detail Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Strong account management, along with the ability to foster relationship through continuous communication with internal and external stakeholders Technical knowledge to investigate, assess and negotiate settlement appropriately The ability to problem solve and think outside the box in a fast-paced environment Excellent organisational skills with the ability to critically assess and analyse tasks Cert IV in Business Administration highly desirable Previous end to end motor vehicle claims or accident management experience highly desirable; or Solid experience working as a Claims Consultant What’s in it for you?
