Senior Financial Analyst, Ops will be responsible for preparing financial reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders, analyzing financial variances from revenue, cost of sales to SG&A items, and providing useful insights to the senior leadership on all major KPIs. In the same time, utilizing financial and reporting tools to effectively perform reporting and analysis model.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead month end close process: revenue and revenue adjustments, cash collections, bad debt analysis, revenue model, profitability analysis.
Calculate monthly variable compensation for business development and clinicians, including monthly variable compensation statement for both groups.
Provide monthly regional, administrative and overall Post Acute business unit P&L and perform analysis of key business drivers, presenting recommendations to key decision-makers.
Working closely with the Post Acute President on monthly board presentation, profitability analysis, and key metrics.
Working closely with the Finance and Accounting dept and provide valuable input on annual budgeting and monthly forecasting on Acute business unit.
May prepare or give financial presentations.
Perform research and ad-hoc analysis as needed.
Additional RESPONSIBILITIES
Completes company mandated training as required.
Perform special projects and duties as requested.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education And Technical Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics highly preferred.
Must have proficiency in MS Excel and database software.
Strong knowledge of Tableau, Alteryx, MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Experience in creating reports using financial reporting tools (i.e. Vena, Power BI, Insight Software) is required.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications/competencies
3-5 years of experience in finance or a related analytical field.
Prior experience with health care analytics is desirable.
Strong analytical skills and knowledge of basic financial modeling required.
Must have the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and a self-starter.
Must be a detail-oriented, organized, analytical, and a problem-solver.
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with a team.
Significant skill in handling competing demands and projects.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
Annual salary: $95,000
