TITLE: Accounting Manager

TYPE: Direct-Hire

LOCATION: Warrington, PA

ONSITE/REMOTE/HYBRID: On site 2-3 days a week, Hybrid 2-3 days a week.

START DATE: May/June 2024

SHIFT: 8am-5pm, M-F. Busy season is month/year end close.

We are looking for a client-facing Accounting Manager due to growth. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of accounting experience and must be comfortable commuting into Bucks County, PA at least two days a week.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Be responsible for G/L updates and maintenance, AP and AR management, month end reconciliations, M/Q/YE close, etc.

Train and mentor new staff.

Prepare and sign off on monthly financial statements such as balance sheet and income statement.

Financial statement review and analysis such as budget vs actuals, trend analysis, prior year comparisons, etc.

Present clients with feedback and recommendations based on the data.

Perform cash flow forecasting and assist with budgeting.

Provide IRS audit assistance and other special projects on an as-needed basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in accounting is required. Master's degree is a plus. CPA is also a plus but not required.

5+ years of relevant accounting experience.

2+ years of supervisory experience.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders.

Strong knowledge and experience with QuickBooks (online preferred).

Expert level experience with Microsoft Excel.

Ability to work with multiple clients & projects while managing deadlines simultaneously.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
