We are looking for an experienced Senior Power BI Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Power BI. This role requires a deep understanding of data analytics, the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights, and the capability to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in Power BI, and experience in data visualization and reporting.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports, ensuring knowledge of required infrastructure and licensing.
- Build Analysis Services reporting models.
- Create visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI Desktop.
- Connect, import, and transform data from various data sources for business intelligence purposes.
- Apply analytical thinking to translate data into informative reports and visuals.
- Implement row-level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI.
- Develop advanced DAX queries in Power BI Desktop.
- Perform advanced-level calculations on data sets.
- Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.
- Develop tabular and multidimensional models compatible with data warehouse standards.
- Communicate effectively with client teams and internal teams to discuss requirements.
- Experience with BI tools and systems such as Power BI, Tableau, and SAP is mandatory.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft BI Stack.
- Strong data analytics skills.
- Proficiency in software development.
- Ability to collaborate with DBAs to optimize data sources for reporting efficiency.
- Knowledge of Databricks is a plus.
