Are you a Press Operator and looking for a career opportunity within a growing organization, then this may be the job for youOBJECTIVE OF THIS POSITIONThe printing press operator controls the production of the press according to job specialties. Supervising and monitoring the press crew, controlling the speed of the press to obtain the proper balance of production and quality. The pressman sets up and operates the printing press to print multicolor copies from supplied proofs. The objective is to run quality sheets through the printing press machine to ensure satisfaction for our customers' demands.ESSENTIAL JOB TAKSReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsEnter job completion details accurately into our OMS visual systemPlan several jobs ahead to ensure job materials are readyExamine job orders to determine quantities for printing, stock specifications, color or special printing instructionsFill out all proper documentation relating to job requirements. Examples being load tags, orders, data analysis, coating documentationsMonitor feeding and printing operations to maintain specified operating level and to detect malfunctionsResponsible for relaying responsibilities to the feeder operator and communicating daily tasksHelp clean up ink fountains during job change over process and perform line clearance protocols from previous jobGrease and lubricate press to manufacturing specs, and per the company's planned maintenance programQuality and procedures when managing color on the printing pressShift Change - The press needs to be prepared for the next shift.
