*Position: Medical Director*
The Medical Director is responsible for the management of Sanitas Medical Centers medical staff and the organizations medical services. This position oversees all aspects of the medical department, including staff development, staffing, scheduling, orientation, performance management, and administrative duties. The Medical Director is ultimately responsible for the smooth operation of a medical clinic and the efficient delivery of high quality care to all patients.
*Qualifications:*
* Masters degree in medicine or related field; Bachelors degree preferred.
* Minimum of three to five years experience in medical practice; experience in a high-volume healthcare setting preferred.
* Knowledge of health insurance benefits and coverage in Tallahassee, FL and surrounding areas preferred.
* Knowledge of health insurance plans and benefits.
* Knowledge of PPO, HMO, and HMO provider network preferred.
* Must be licensed in Tallahassee, FL as an MD or DEA or be willing to become licensed within 30 days of hire.
* Must possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to work with a diverse group of individuals.
* Must possess strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
* Excellent communication skills (written and oral) required.
