PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Director, Information Security Business Solution Architect (ISBSA) will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand and develop solutions for their unique information security needs in conjunction with the Company mission, vision, and strategy. They will work closely with the Information Security Cybersecurity, Risk and Compliance, and Identity & Access Management (IAM) teams to develop and deliver customized business solution architecture and design and aid in program delivery for critical Technology Risk Management enterprise programs.

  • Work collaboratively with the CISO, CIO, and CTO teams to build solutions that meet MGMRI's security requirements and policies while keeping security seamless and user-friendly.
  • Lead continuous communication to the business of all Information Security requirements for the design, development, and implementation of Information Security policies, standards, controls, solutions, and services.
  • Partner with the Information Security Program Management team to oversee the implementation of crucial enterprise security initiatives, processes, and tooling that keep our corporate networks and systems safe.
  • Conduct security-focused reviews of infrastructure and applications to ensure that our developer and business technology teams maintain high cyber security standards.
  • Develop techniques and procedures for conducting cyber security risk assessments and assists with evaluating critical business processes for possible impact on various business units.
  • Serve as a business unit SME and escalation point on cyber security processes, initiatives, and policy questions.
  • Communicate with other business units to drive security standards and ensure the seamless execution of evolving policies.
  • Work with enterprise architecture to ensure that technical products, platforms, programs, and solutions adhere to MGM's Information Security Policies and Standards and regulatory and internal requirements. These requirements include Sarbanes-Oxley, payment card industry standards, and Gaming regulations.
  • Contribute to the evolution of information security maturity in alignment with organizational strategy and objectives for security and IT.
  • Participate in architecture governance processes for information security and the Enterprise.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience
  • The position will have indirect supervisory responsibilities over Information Security and Technology, Data and Digital project teams, and various stakeholders with IT and the Business.
  • Experience across multiple industries with expertise in handling regulatory issues and risks.
  • Risk management experience with demonstrated technical proficiency in applying cybersecurity controls.
  • Experience executing highly complex, cross-organizational initiatives within a large enterprise.
  • Experience in successfully distilling complex technical information into clear, concise yet comprehensive communication material.
  • Experience with understanding the fundamental company security and risk management strategy and be able to apply that as a fundamental pillar of the transformation strategy.
  • Project management experience and mentoring project personnel when required.
  • Previous experience working in a similar industry such as hospitality or gaming.

  • 10+ years of prior relevantexperience across Information Technology strategy, compliance, and operations
  • 5+ Years of prior relevant experience implementing security principles and technologies
  • 3+ Years of prior relevantexperience in designing and implementing security solutions
  • 1+ Years of prior relevant experience with cloud computing, including security considerations
