THE JOB

The Senior Financial Analyst will provide heavy analysis, planning, and forecasting capabilities for senior management, with an emphasis on financial modeling. The individual will focus on forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, month end close, consolidations, financial reporting, driving financial process improvement and metrics. This position reports to the Head of Controlling.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES
  • Preparation of revenue and expense budgets and forecasts, financial reporting (monthly/quarterly/annual) and analysis, and operational and management reporting.
  • Provides budget-to-actual variance analyses for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for the Company, as well as at functional and cost center levels.
  • Preparing clear and concise variance explanations
  • Contributes to the preparation of board-level reporting packages and presentations
  • Assists the Head of Controlling and CFO in preparing presentations to members of the Executive Leadership Team for business reviews as well as forecast and budget review meetings.
  • Continually identify areas of risks and opportunities in performance with supporting analysis
  • Builds financial modeling for forecasting, scenario-planning, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Produces detailed analyses of our financial results and develop reporting packages to enable efficient communication of results to senior leaders in Finance and Operations.
  • Assists to identify new opportunities to standardize and/or prepare the information in a more effective manner.
  • Collaborates with accounting team to streamline processes and redesign existing workflows.
  • Collaborates on resources across multiple functions, workgroups, and management levels.
  • Coordinates and supports integration planning, tracking and processes for new acquisitions.
  • Monitors the performance of new acquisitions.
  • Audits and reviews of transactional data to assess compliance with group's standards.
  • Liaise with a target company's finance/accounting departments and advisors to gather pertinent accounting support.
  • Conducts any Ad Hoc requests and financial analyses per CFO and The Head of Controlling requests.
Qualifications

THE CANDIDATE

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4-6 years related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of financial consolidations and reporting and month-end close process.
  • Ability to anticipate issues, ensure data integrity, and accuracy of details while being capable of higher-level interpretation and explanation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible to change.
  • Budgeting and financial analysis experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel (advanced skill level).
  • Successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, detail orientation, problem-solving skills and proven ability to multi-task while under pressure and within short time constraints.
  • Hyperion and Oracle experience a plus.


Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across multiple US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $90,000.00 in our lowest geographic market up to $110,000.00 in our highest market. Base pay is based on multiple factors including market location and may vary depending on job related knowledge, skill set, and experience.
