Job Description:

Microchip is seeking a Revenue Accountant to join our team based in Chandler, Arizona. We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated, eager to learn, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and who can deliver accurate results on multiple projects with competing deadlines.

This position can be upgraded to a Senior Accountant based on the experience of the candidate.

The duties of this position include:

Review revenue contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition under ASC 606 Respond to revenue-related requests from the Company's annual audit and quarterly review procedures with the independent auditors Coordinate, develop and update written policies and procedures over the revenue process Maintain and strengthen internal controls over revenue Research and resolve revenue-related technical accounting issues Assist in monthly and quarterly close procedures Take ownership of the accounting for select accounts or processes and other tasks as assigned Provide ad hoc revenue related reports as requested by management. Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting 1 to 3 years of public accounting experience Preferred Qualifications:

CPA or Chartered Accountant Master's degree in Accounting This position is not eligible for Microchip immigration sponsorship.
