Assists with preparation of financial statements. Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense journal entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Maintains and balances general ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies. Serves as backup for Accounts Payable and Payroll. Researches, collects, and analyzes financial data for submission of required reporting. Maintains fixed asset and depreciation records. Prepares 1099 tax reporting forms. Prepares annual Personal Property and Business License filings. Assists with tax returns and audits. Establishes and reviews accounting policies and procedures and recommends modifications. Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned. Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. Experience with Accounts Payable, Customer Invoicing, and Payroll required. Positive attitude and customer service mindset with a strong work ethic. Strong communication and analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Self-starter who can work independently and execute projects efficiently. Able to work hands-on within the various departments of the organization and communicate effectively up the chain of command. High attention to detail. Must be able to set priorities and demonstrate sound judgment in handling problems. Must be extremely well-organized and demonstrate exceptional financial and time management skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with clients and other professionals.
