Come join the 1N team First National Bank LI, is seeking an experienced Finance Analyst to join our Finance team working in our Corporate Headquarters located in Melville.

Manage the Wire Transfer and Accounts Payable functions of the department. Other duties include weekly preparation and filing of the FR2900 report. Resolves posting errors that result in suspense in Signature on a daily basis. Serves as primary backup for the Senior Finance Administrator.

Responsibilities:

Wire transfer - manage the WireXchange wire transfer system and process incoming and outgoing wire transfers through the system.

Accounts Payable - manage the accounts payable process via the Prologue Accounts Payable

Monitor invoice receipts through the Nautilus Workflow; update Vendor and ACH information; generate checks and ACH payments; compile sales tax information for vendors that do not charge tax.

Resolve general ledger suspense items in Signature

Prepare FR2900 report and submit to the Federal Reserve weekly

Reconciles the Federal Reserve Bank account on a daily basis and various other general ledger accounts on a monthly basis. Maintains parent company subsidiary ledgers.

Prepares payments to Board directors on a monthly basis (both cash and stock payments); Maintains records of attendance and payment; Sends monthly statements to Directors.

Provide backup for processing daily tickets for Signature posting

Provide backup or administrative functions of the department as needed

Additional Non-essential Functions:

Prepares year-end 1099 forms pertaining to Finance department activities including vendors and directors.

Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent combination of business/ military experience and education.

1-5 years work experience in office environment.

Details oriented. Knowledge of wire transfer system and accounts payable system a plus

Proficient in MicroSoft Office.
