Position Overview:
A prominent healthcare organization is seeking a Revenue Cycle Performance Analyst to enhance their operational efficiency.


The successful candidate will possess over 7 years of experience in the healthcare sector, focusing on analyzing revenue cycle data to reveal patterns, pinpoint challenges, and discover areas for enhancement.


Compensation:
The role offers a competitive salary of up to $100K.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Examine revenue cycle data to uncover trends, challenges, and potential areas for enhancement.
2. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue cycle efficiency.
3. Analyze dashboards, work queues, collections, allowances, and denials to identify trends and propose corrective measures.
4. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on revenue cycle metrics for senior leadership.
5. Collaborate with finance, billing, and coding departments to improve processes and resolve issues.
6. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to regulations and internal standards.
7. Suggest and implement process enhancements to boost efficiency and reduce revenue loss.
8. Provide training and guidance to staff on best practices and new procedures.
9. Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes impacting revenue cycle management.
10. Maintain and update departmental manuals as necessary.
11. Review aged trial balances to ensure effective account management.
12. Communicate patient-related information to relevant departments as needed.
13. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations regarding collections.
14. Manage departmental budget effectively.
15. Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, healthcare administration, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- At least seven (7) years of experience in hospital patient access services, including three (3) years in a supervisory role.
- Relevant certification (e.g., Certified Revenue Cycle Representative - CRCR) is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis tools and software.
- Experience in revenue cycle management, medical billing, and coding is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across various departments.
- Detail-oriented with robust problem-solving capabilities.
- Advanced knowledge of hospital registration and billing systems.
- Proficiency in Epic application.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, including CPT and ICD codes.
- Computer literacy is essential.
- Ability to work independently and follow direction on assigned tasks.
- Knowledge of billing guidelines.
- Ability to interact effectively with colleagues across all departments.
