Talent Acquisition Manager

The Talent Acquisition Manager at San Juan Regional Medical Center plays a pivotal role in building a high-performing and engaged workforce. You will lead a team of talented professionals in crafting effective talent acquisition strategies, optimizing operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of employee development and wellbeing. As the face of Talent Acquisition, you will collaborate across departments to attract, develop, and retain top
talent, driving organizational success. This key role reports to the Director of Talent Acquisition and provides collaborative and consultive advice as well as HR compliance guidance for San Juan Regional Medical Center. A strong understanding of healthcare governance, HR operations, and HR competencies is preferred.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in talent acquisition and/or Human Resources management
- Proven track record of success in implementing talent acquisition and employee development programs
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Proficient in HR information systems and technology
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace
- Master's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Advanced Certification in HR (PHR, SPHR, GPHR, SHRM-CP, etc.)
- Experience in healthcare talent acquisition
- Familiarity with employee engagement best practices
- Experience with Workday applicant tracking system
Talent Acquisition Strategy:
- Develop and execute innovative talent acquisition plans aligned with business needs and employee engagement goals
- Oversee talent sourcing, recruitment, and onboarding processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand specific staffing needs and identify ideal candidate profiles
- Implement technology and data-driven approaches to streamline operations and optimize results
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate partnerships for maximum ROI
- Lead and coach your team to achieve performance goals and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement
- Design and implement employee development programs tailored to individual needs and career aspirations
- Partner with managers to conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- Develop and deliver coaching sessions to equip employees with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles
- Foster a culture of recognition and appreciation, celebrating employee achievements and contributions
- Identify and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for talent acquisition, development, and engagement programs
- Leverage data analytics to track progress, identify trends, and inform strategic decision-making
- Generate comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate results and insights to stakeholders
- Continuously refine talent acquisition and development strategies based on data-driven insights
- Become the subject matter expert (SME) with the Workday Recruiting Module
- Streamline talent acquisition processes, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Manage the HRIS system and compliance teams to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations
- Proactively identify and address operational challenges to ensure smooth and efficient talent management
- Each employee is responsible for implementing SJRMC's Service Standards into their daily work: Safety, Courtesy, Effectiveness, and Stewardship
- Other duties as assigned
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Occasional irregular work hours (to meet the needs of SJRMC)
- Must be able to lift twenty-five (25) pounds
- Occasional: lifting, carrying, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, and stooping
