The right individual will work within planning, purchasing and logistics to ensure consistency, cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and adequacy of the various procurement processes. For Fleet Management this person is responsible for planning, directing, managing, coordinating, and supervising the programs for acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement, and disposal of fleet vehicles. Fleet manager also serves as the primary contact concerning the vehicle fleet and operations. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** Develop sourcing and procurement activities that support key business objectives. Develop and execute a long-term strategy to facilitate improvements for Procurement Services. Ensure the execution of procurement strategies across the organization to ensure consistent and high-quality value delivery. Manage inventory levels according to established min/max standards and tweak as necessary. This includes print material inventory as well as fixed asset panels and related hardware. Oversee the development and execution of sourcing strategies across all categories within span of control including targets, timelines, and resource plans. Maintain strong working relationships with strategic suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met. Maintain knowledge of the market, in addition to current prices and fair rates for goods. Plan for efficient and effective purchasing of goods for supply chain and operation. Identify alternative suppliers and contingency arrangements for critical goods. Consistently work to streamline costs and establish long term pricing arrangements. Panel Inventory processes and management. Establish and monitor fleet purchasing, operational and replacement strategies and practices for most cost-effective operation focused on achieving lowest total cost of ownership. Maintain knowledge and utilize all fleet information to forecast new requirements. Develop and implement standard operational standards to maintain vehicles by advocating best practices in industry. Develop and implement Fleet Management Policy. Ensure departmental adherence to applicable laws and regulations. Maintaining fleet inventory via established databases and track sales, registrations, inspections, and maintenance. Maintaining and reporting on Key Performance Indicators related to Fleet performance Plan and prepare an annual budget, communicate on-road dates to accounting and update. Forecast any changes. Manage relationships with Enterprise Fleet Management. Administration and monitoring of Wex Fuel Card purchases and submit breakdown of charges to accounting as well as communicating detail to field operations. Administration and monitoring of GPS devices. Reconciliation of lease billing and process charges in NetSuite. Reconciliation of Enterprise rentals and submit breakdown of charges to accounting as well as communicating detail to field operations. Benchmarking with comparable industries related to cents per mile, total cost of ownership, etc. **Qualifications and Education Requirements:** Excellent negotiation and communication skills both verbal and written Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a strong customer service mindset.
