**The Role:**

As a **Part-Time** **Barista** at Known, you will create a relaxing, enjoyable environment in our company cafe serving all products with friendly, individualized attention towards our employees and guests in a way that represents our company in a professional manner.

**What You'll Do:**

* The Barista is responsible for opening and closing the cafe daily.

* Personable, outgoing and enthusiastic about interacting with diverse guests.

* Passionate about coffee.

* Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards.

* Properly handle and maintain all equipment. Maintain required cleaning and sanitizing of the work area. Includes espresso machine, grinder, pour over parts, utensils, etc.

* Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner.

* Serve customers quickly and efficiently.

* Observe relevant health and safety standards.

* Be present in the Caf.

* Perform all daily required maintenance of coffee bar; includes maintaining cleanliness of countertop, sink, loading of dishwasher, removal of paper cups, trash, etc.

* Must communicate and collaborate with manager and facilities staff members; includes providing feedback to management. Communication with staff members about stock levels, supplies, etc. is essential.

* Work with manager in ordering supplies

**You Have:**

* Excellent communication and listening skills

* A passion for hospitality and customer service

* Ability to learn quickly, and be self-motivated

* A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)

* Retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience preferred

* Strong ability to multitask
