Customer Service Leader

A growing company is seeking an experienced Customer Service Leader to build, restructure, and manage its entire customer service department. The ideal candidate will create systems, implement software solutions, and oversee the department's operations, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. This role involves managing escalations, training staff, and leading the hiring and firing process while driving continuous improvement and efficiency within the department.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Build and restructure the customer service department, creating efficient systems and processes.
  • Implement and optimize customer service software to track performance and enhance client experience.
  • Manage customer service team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Handle escalations and ensure client issues are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Develop and maintain training programs to ensure team members are equipped with the skills needed to provide excellent customer service.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess department performance and make adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive and effective service delivery.
Ideal Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in leading and building a customer service department.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in hiring, training, and managing teams.
  • Expertise in implementing customer service software and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle escalations and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
