Job Description

The Strategy Analyst supports organizational strategy development, execution, and performance tracking through data analytics. Partnering with operational leaders and other internal teams, the Strategy Analyst mines and manages internal and external data to evaluate market trends and identify opportunities for growth and operational improvement. This role is responsible for the full development of report/content generation from conception to the production of actionable information that drives strategic business decisions. A successful Strategy Analyst has strong critical thinking and communication skills and is both detail-oriented and a big picture thinker.

Responsibilities

  • Leverages data tools and resources to develop market and competitive analyses to drive strategic business decisions.
  • Works closely with internal stakeholders to provide accurate information in accordance with data integrity standards.
  • Identifies data sources and data elements essential for inclusion in performance analyses in consultation with the Executive Director.
  • Assists in the management and coordination of project deliverables and data reporting.
  • Manages and maintains data infrastructure for select external and internal data resources.
  • Supports organizational cadence of market performance review through the production of market and service line analyses.
  • Assists with organizational and leader performance tracking managed by the division.
  • Works directly with the physician recruitment and physician enterprise management to track internal and external provider landscape changes.
  • Responsible for the utilization reporting to state agencies and national organizations as directed by leadership.
  • Supports organizational project management activities managed by the division.
  • Assist in other duties as assigned to support the operational needs of the department and organization.
  • May be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.
Qualifications

Minimum Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Healthcare, Communications, Marketing, or related field required.
  • Master's Degree n Business, Finance, Accounting, Healthcare, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Minimum Work Experience
  • 1 year experience in data analytics within business development, marketing, strategic planning, health care operations setting or related work experience required.
  • Experience in data visualization programs such as Tableau or Power BI preferred.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • Strong writing, communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work well with team members at all levels.
  • Proficiency in healthcare data software systems preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
