  • Maintain expertise in creating visualization charts, link analysis diagrams, and executing database queries.
  • Conduct thorough analyses and reporting of cyber threats, aiding in the identification and investigation of network intrusions.
  • Ensure compliance with required Information Assurance training standards.

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI

Essential Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain DHS suitability prior to employment.

Hands-on experience in the detection, response, and reporting of cyber threats is essential, along with familiarity in one or more of the following areas:

  • Computer intrusion analysis and incident response.
  • Network surveillance and monitoring.
  • Understanding of network protocols, devices, operating systems, and secure architectures.
  • Experience in computer forensic analysis and data recovery.
  • Network forensics and system log analysis.
  • Current knowledge of cyber threats and their associated tactics and techniques.
  • Proficiency in network intrusion detection and response operations.
  • Strong skills in MS Office Applications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across various agencies and locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DHS, Federal Civil, Intelligence, or DoD clients.
  • Background in malware reverse engineering.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl).
  • Experience in process development and deployment.
  • Exceptional writing skills.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Analyst Notebook.
  • Prior experience with Splunk.

Desired Certifications:

  • Technical CND Incident Reporter Certification (e.g., CEH, GCIH, GCIA, GNFA).
  • DoDI M M IAT Level I Compliant Certification (e.g., Network + CE, A+ CE, CCNA + Security, SSCP).

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • A Master's degree in a related discipline may substitute for 4 years of experience.
  • Professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
