- Maintain expertise in creating visualization charts, link analysis diagrams, and executing database queries.
- Conduct thorough analyses and reporting of cyber threats, aiding in the identification and investigation of network intrusions.
- Ensure compliance with required Information Assurance training standards.
Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI
Essential Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain DHS suitability prior to employment.
Hands-on experience in the detection, response, and reporting of cyber threats is essential, along with familiarity in one or more of the following areas:
- Computer intrusion analysis and incident response.
- Network surveillance and monitoring.
- Understanding of network protocols, devices, operating systems, and secure architectures.
- Experience in computer forensic analysis and data recovery.
- Network forensics and system log analysis.
- Current knowledge of cyber threats and their associated tactics and techniques.
- Proficiency in network intrusion detection and response operations.
- Strong skills in MS Office Applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively across various agencies and locations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with DHS, Federal Civil, Intelligence, or DoD clients.
- Background in malware reverse engineering.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl).
- Experience in process development and deployment.
- Exceptional writing skills.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Analyst Notebook.
- Prior experience with Splunk.
Desired Certifications:
- Technical CND Incident Reporter Certification (e.g., CEH, GCIH, GCIA, GNFA).
- DoDI M M IAT Level I Compliant Certification (e.g., Network + CE, A+ CE, CCNA + Security, SSCP).
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- A Master's degree in a related discipline may substitute for 4 years of experience.
- Professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
