Your role will be to ensure that Geotechnical design on projects like highways and streets, buildings, sewer lines and dams, meet engineering standards. What you do: * Manage and conduct subsurface investigations for transportation, commercial, industrial and municipal projects * Provide shallow and deep foundation recommendations, retaining wall design, slope stability analyses and pavement evaluation * Prepare cost estimates and proposals * Train and mentoring staff engineers * Oversee drilling and laboratory testing services at the project level * Work closely with the Geotechnical team to meet client expectations and project timelines * Work on a broad range of high-profile commercial projects with clients such as local municipalities, universities and colleges, private industries, DOTs, etc... What you bring: * 5 to 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience * Ohio-based geotechnical experience including knowledge of ODOT specifications * Ohio Professional Engineer strongly preferred * BSCE; MSCE with concentration in geotechnical engineering preferred .
