Job Summary Has overall responsibility to record, measure and report the financial performance of functional areas against established corporate objectives for Net Income from Operations, manufacturing efficiencies, and utilization of company resources, customer delivery schedules, overhead costs and product quality metrics. Conducts detailed or complex program performance, financial and statistical analysis for manufacturing and engineering areas; which monitor, report, track, and anticipate corrective action required to meet or exceed the requirements of customers and Sr. Management. Job Responsibilities Analyze customer margins in detail by contract, model and part number. Understand and explain cost components to managers to take effective action to improve margins while maintaining quality and delivery performance. Identify and develop efficient and effective methods and practices to analyze financial results and operating data required by Purchasing, Programs and Manufacturing Operations management. Analyze this data and deliver meaningful information to management with corrective action plans. Implement and ensure performance to realize these desired financial results. Analyze direct and indirect labor levels and trends. Ensure managers are kept fully informed of their spending and financial results, while maintaining a firm and creditable relationships with all levels of management. Perform indirect cost and program costs analysis to ensure the required operating and financial performance objectives are achieved. Administers and complies with the Company's human relations policies and procedures in a manner that provides fair and equitable treatment for all employees while ensuring optimum productivity and resource utilization. Applies the Company's Equal Opportunity Policy to all personnel actions and implements effective affirmative action to ensure attainment of the goals and objectives of the facility. Job Qualifications Required Qualifications: BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Management, Engineering or related field is required. Advanced degree is preferred; MBA is most desirable. 5-10 years' experience in Manufacturing Management and/or Production reporting/analysis. Program finance experience highly preferred - ETC and EAC. Advanced Excel, Power Point and Reporting skills required. Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) is a huge plus. Ability to communicate with Sr. Management to achieve overall corporate, financial, and operational objectives. Ability to perform and communicate complex and highly sophisticated empirical and statistical analysis to include the identifying of relevant input data, model design and set up, data analysis, inferring conclusions, formulating recommendations to attain overall corporate objectives, and communicate directly and effectively with all levels of management to include the highest levels. The sensitive nature of this position requires a high level of maturity, tact and diplomacy without sacrificing authentic and meaningful information.
