[The Purchasing Manager collaborates with other departments and leadership to purchase and receive goods with accuracy and efficiency per the Big Top Manufacturing specifications. This position reports to the Installation and Special Projects Manager.

Executes the purchasing strategy.
Lead the supply chain team as necessary.

Reviews and processes purchase orders.
Maintains and records goods orders and received.
Negotiates prices and contracts with suppliers.
Build and maintain relationships with vendors.
Selects prospective vendors and negotiates contracts.
Evaluates vendors based on quality, timeliness, and price.
Schedules deliveries and ensures timely fulfillment of orders.
Researches and evaluates vendors to compare pricing and services every 6 months.
Coordinates with site leadership to monitor inventory and determine supply needs.
Ensures quality of procured items and addresses problems as they arise.
Travels to vendor locations as necessary.
Stays current with purchasing technology and oversees purchase and implementation as necessary.
Participates in SOW meetings to determine supply needs.
Forecasts potential delivery delays and develops alternative plans.
Other duties as assigned.
