Squires Construction is a growing commercial general contractor with over 40 years in the Salt Lake and surrounding areas. We are currently looking to fill an estimating role in our Salt Lake City Office. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is comfortable putting together complete bid packages for commercial, multifamily, industrial, and TI projects with little oversight. Responsibilities Solicit bids from subcontractors. Review drawings and identify contradicting information and communicate with design teams to receive clarifications. Review bids and verify proposed scope matches contract documents. Use computer software for takeoffs and get pricing for purchasing. Understand the construction process to incorporate all costs into bids. Compare estimates and cut subcontracts and direct and assist in procurement and receiving. Project turnover from award to field team. Qualifications BS in construction management is a plus, but schooling or life experience will not be ignored. Bidding software experience is a plus. Must be very efficient in Microsoft Suite and have above-average computer skills. Experience in Adobe markup or Bluebeam. CAD experience is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
