Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform software installations, updates, and upgrades.
  • Certify network software for proper installation and operation.
  • Assure proper day to day software operations for all locations.
  • Assure long term software compatibility.
  • Provide technical support for our suite of applications, including troubleshooting issues and resolving user problems in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions for application-related issues.
  • Perform platform customizations by working with application leads, Compliance and Legal to customize, test and obtain approvals.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend, new software and platform applications.
  • Keep up to date with software releases and features.
  • Provide custom training programming as approved by Manager Application Systems.
  • Write and maintain interface programs and utilities.
  • Document support processes, procedures, and resolutions for future reference.
  • Create policies and procedures to assure proper infrastructure security and disaster recovery.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in applications.
  • Assure global compatibility and standardization of applications and platforms on both corporate and outside party basis.
  • Work closely with other department personnel and outside vendors to assure complete compatibility between applications and platforms systems with other systems hardware and software.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in application support.
  • Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE
  • Associate's degree or two years of college Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in application support or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of software applications, databases, and systems integration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality support services.
  • Valid driver's license.

  • A dynamic and collaborative work environment.
  • Some travel required.
