Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Systems Analyst to join our team at Community Trust Bank. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for complex application problems, providing technical guidance and support to end users and other application support personnel.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network-based software, applications systems, and three-tier architecture, as well as experience with operating systems, relational databases, email, and web server technologies.

The Application Systems Analyst will be responsible for analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing processes, and will work closely with other department personnel and vendors to ensure complete compatibility between applications and platforms.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing maintenance and support of application development solutions, creating policies and procedures to ensure proper infrastructure security and disaster recovery, and providing training for Help Desk and other departments as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing processes
  • Provide technical guidance and support to end users and other application support personnel
  • Work closely with other department personnel and vendors to ensure complete compatibility between applications and platforms
  • Provide maintenance and support of application development solutions
  • Create policies and procedures to ensure proper infrastructure security and disaster recovery
  • Provide training for Help Desk and other departments as needed

Requirements:

  • Two years of college or equivalent in advanced education
  • In-depth knowledge of network-based software, applications systems, and three-tier architecture
  • In-depth knowledge of operating systems, relational databases, email, and web server technologies
  • Knowledge of various scripting technologies
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to adapt quickly to a constantly changing environment
