As a Construction Coordinator, you will issue daily work permits detailing daily tasks and hazards. You will coordinate with area owners and engineers, and manage work with subcontractors covering various critical tasks including energized equipment, lockout/tagout, working at heights, excavation, hot work, line breaks, fire protection, lifting and hoisting. Your responsibilities also include assisting and reviewing Environmental Health & Safety requirements, job safety assessments, equipment pre-shift inspections, and ensuring that contractors adhere to safety procedures. You will draft site notices for project impacts, participate in incident investigations, enforce workplace housekeeping, and manage subcontractor activities including barricading areas. Additionally, you will support project managers by coordinating contractor site access, overseeing equipment and material deliveries, reviewing project plans and specifications, addressing non-compliant installations, witnessing system tests to ensure they are properly documented, and maintaining participation in project meetings. It is crucial to maintain compliance with cGMP and training requirements.
