AVEVA PI Lead Engineer , you will participate in overseeing the entiremigration process from initial assessment and planning through topost-migration support and optimization. Responsibilities:

Initial Assessment andPlanning: Conduct requirementgathering sessions to understand client needs and objectives. Perform feasibilitystudies to assess the viability of migration projects. Develop comprehensivemigration plans based on gathered requirements and feasibility analysis.

Create migrationroadmaps outlining key milestones and timelines. Plan resourceallocation and team assignments for efficient project execution. Collaborate with stakeholdersto ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.

Data and Display Analysis: Conduct thorough datamapping exercises to identify source and destination data points. Inventory existingdisplays and visualization assets for migration assessment. Develop strategies foroptimizing data storage and display efficiency.

Design and Configuration: Design templates andframeworks for data migration and visualization. Customize AVEVA PI configurationsto meet specific project requirements. Ensure compatibilityand interoperability between existing systems and AVEVA PI platform.

Migration Execution: Execute displayconversion tasks according to migration roadmap. Integrate migrated datawith AVEVA PI system for seamless functionality. Monitor migrationprogress and troubleshoot any issues that arise during execution.

Testing and Validation: Conduct comprehensivetesting of migrated data and displays. Ensure qualityassurance standards are met throughout the migration process. Address anydiscrepancies or errors identified during testing phases.

Documentation and Deployment Plan: Document all aspects ofthe migration process including methodologies, configurations, and testingresults. Develop deploymentplans outlining steps for implementation and rollout. Communicate deploymentplans to stakeholders and coordinate execution activities.

Post-Migration Support and Optimization: Provide ongoing supportto users’ post-migration to address any issues or concerns. Optimize AVEVA PIconfigurations for performance and efficiency. Implement continuousimprovement initiatives based on post-migration feedback and observations.

Requirements

Minimum of 3+ years ofexperience with AVEVA PI

Bachelor of Science inEngineering, Computer Science, or their technical equivalent

Proven experience in AVEVAPI system implementation and migration projects

Strong understanding ofindustrial data systems and processes

Effective communicationand stakeholder management abilities

Strong communicationskills and engaging personality to liaise with stakeholders, including clients,technical teams, and senior management.

Nice to have, but not required: Master of Engineeringor Computer Science
