JOB SUMMARY The Tax Associate II is responsible for carrying out U.S. federal international tax compliance and associated U.S. GAAP tax provision projects. Tax Compliance and Provision: Participate in the timely and accurate preparation/review of U.S. international informational filings (e.g., Forms 8858s, 5471s, 5472s, 8865s, 1118), and other specified tax returns.

Participate in the timely and accurate preparation & review of quarterly and year-end U.S. GAAP income tax provision calculations associated with U.S. international tax.

Assist with withholding tax reporting obligations including Forms W-8, W-9 and the annual 1042 withholding tax return and associated filings.

Improve processes by identifying efficiencies in preparation and information gathering procedures.

Seek ways to identify tax savings opportunities and work with others, where applicable, to implement those strategies approved by Jabil management.

Perform tax research for tax return items and special projects.

Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional projects.

Keep up to date on changes in tax law and related guidance through webcasts, technical reading, and trainings.

Problem solve potential tax issues identified.

Must be analytical and knowledgeable in accounting procedures and practices and be capable of working independently with general supervision from the Manager/Director.

Ensure that work product is timely, self-reviewed, and meets the needs of the end user.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS Experience/knowledge in analytical tasks and research.

Working knowledge of tax technical rules.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.

Ability to become proficient in accounting and tax return software.

Working knowledge in use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or equivalent. Master's degree and/or CPA strongly preferred.

At least 2 years of tax related experience required.

Or equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.
