The candidate will work within the servicing department with a focus on managing loan delinquency, loan retention, and providing solutions for clients. Duties and Responsibilities: Gain proficiency in company's loan servicing software as well as any new systems that may be implemented in the future. Interact with clients and internal partners daily to answer questions, solve problems, and deliver the highest-level of customer service. Assist clients with monthly billing and collections cycle. Monitor the status of delinquent payments and follow-up with clients on an ongoing basis. Analyze and report to management on overall portfolio performance, KPI’s, and risk metrics. Monitor maturing loans and ensure borrowers have an exit strategy. Analyzing loan histories and performing on account balances. Maintain detailed records within the servicing system, inclusive of: Contact attempts/correspondence, escrow updates, extension documentation, etc. Other projects as assigned. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree preferred Experience in a mortgage loan servicing customer service or collections role of 2+ years. Loan Servicing industry experience is preferred Proficient in Microsoft Excel Desired Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills. Exceptional negotiation skills. Excellent telephone and written communication skills. Maintain professional conduct when having difficult conversations with clients. Expertise in using Excel. Ability to work under minimum supervision and manage tight deadlines. Prioritization & multitasking. Problem solving & critical thinking. Time management. Familiarity with internet search techniques (including the use of skip-tracing solutions).
