Position Summary:

Our Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for supporting production for the facility to maintain operating performance, engage, test, and implement key projects, deliver major initiatives (i.e. new product development), participate in Reliability & Maintenance strategy discussions and provide engineering insight for the facility. You will be hands-on 80/20 split between shop floor and office responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides Safety Leadership to site
  • Lead reliability, technical, and engineering support for maintenance and production employees to identify and implement sustainable solutions to meet safety, quality, and production objectives
  • Develop and implement site predictive/preventative engineering policies, reliability program, plan execution, KPIs, tracking and reporting for all equipment and systems, ensuring all planned routines are correctly specified and critical spares are assessed to allow effective execution of program tasks
  • Lead root cause analysis and implementation of long-term solutions to prevent recurrences, manage KPIs including run hours, MTBF, and cost to repair
  • Supply reliability status monthly filings, analyze trends and develop projects to address the issues of concern, supporting continuous, sustainable improvement
  • Lead development and execution of projects as PM, Project Engineer, Subject Matter Expert
  • Focus on equipment/systems upgrades in safety, quality, cost reductions, productivity
  • Full scope management/reporting-development, justification, approval, design, procurement, construction, commission, start-up, training, closure
  • Provide discipline support to cross functional teams
  • Major division and corporate projects
  • New Product initiatives/introductions
  • Leadership for the Division
  • Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the company
  • Mentor, development, and training of operator, maintenance, skill sets
  • Complete administrative responsibilities including meetings, reports, goals, training, budgets, financials, and expenses to targets and expectations
What we are looking for:
  • Bachelor of Science, Engineering
  • 5 years experience in manufacturing environment
  • CMMS knowledge and execution
  • ERP experience, Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, Solidworks and AutoCad
  • Strong cross-functional team communication, presentation skills and interpersonal skills
  • Cross-functional team leadership to accomplish objectives
  • Business Financial and Project Management Skills
  • Reliability practice/tool experience- PdM. PPM, RCM
  • Safe work practices: NEC, OSHA, Arc Flash, Short Circuit, LOTO, Guarding, Hot Work, Safe Work
  • Planning, execution, monitoring, reporting of PM, CM, and turnaround activities
