SUD Clinician - Recovery (12-hour day shifts)Unison Health is seeking a SUD Clinician - Recovery. this position provides direct services to clients with major mental illness and a substance abuse diagnosis. These services are provided to assist in resolving or minimizing the effects of a client's impairment through a wide range of skills, including assessment, monitoring, crisis intervention, education, linking and training in community resources, assistance in daily living skills, and obtaining necessary services for meeting basic human needs and entitlements. This position participates as part of a treatment team.Education/Experience/Other Requirements:Requires high school diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred.Must possess a minimum of six months working with individuals with mental illness and a substance abuse problem.Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) required.LSW or LPC preferred.Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include alternate shifts, weekends, late nights, and holidays to meet program needs.Must demonstrate individual and group therapeutic skills, knowledge of mental illness and substance abuse.Must demonstrate the ability to define problems, analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and make recommendations.Must demonstrate positive attitude, commitment to provide superior services and enthusiastic support for the mission of the agency.Must establish and maintain effective working relationships.Must demonstrate the ability to represent the agency in a positive manner when in the community.Must be able to work with ill, disabled, emotionally upset and at times hostile individuals.Primary Duties:Provides direct mental health services as appropriate per licensure and SUD services to clients in accordance with the State mandates and established Agency and program policies, procedures, philosophy and the Individualized Service Plan.Documents all services provided and maintains records utilizing the electronic record in accordance with agency policy/procedure.Maintains client confidentiality and ensures release of information is handled in accordance with federal guidelines and agency policy/procedures.Participates in team meetings, supervision, in-service training and conferences according to established policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.Excellent benefits package includes:Outstanding wagesGenerous paid time off program including eight paid holidaysMedical, Dental, Vision, Life/AD&D, Short-term disability, and Long-term disability plans403(b) retirement plan with company matchOn site CEU programsTuition ReimbursementAND MOREEOE
