Position Overview:

The Supply Chain Analyst conducts data analysis to optimize our end-2-end supply chain operations. This role requires an analytical mind and a strong business acumen. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential. Develop knowledge about supply of materials, formulating short- and long-term strategies to ensure quality and continuity of supply while minimizing cost. The ideal candidate will also have leadership skills to assist and advise in a start-up environment. Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, warehousing or merchandising processes are preferred.

Our client develops and delivers world-class training products and workout programs for everyone: from fitness professionals and enthusiasts of any age and ability to top-name athletes in the NFL, NBA, MLB, and UFC, as well as our servicemen and women in every branch of the US military.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Analyzes internal usage patterns and external market trends for assigned items.

Calculates stocking requirements to keep inventory at acceptable levels.

Expedites solution of any issues that arise in relation to delivery date, quality, quantity, and cost of purchased material.

Recommends cost savings improvements through changes of purchasing systems, sources, and quality.

Track KPIs and report on replenishment and supply chain’s performance.

Help plan and implement replenishment and supply chain projects.

Create processes and methods to gather replenishment and supply chain data.

Provide weekly, monthly, and annual metrics to report on performance.

Own the end-to-end asset management process and systems globally.

Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.

Develop and maintain a well-coordinated internal relationship with key decision makers and with the wider enterprise organization.

Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes.

Aide in project management functions to develop standardization and drive adherence to critical Supply Chain process, systems and functions.

Create standard work processes (SOP) for all supply chain related tasks, inputs and outputs; establish systems and processes to measure compliance to the standards.

Support future business needs to drive Supply Chain excellence.

Required Experience & Skills:

BA Degree or equivalent work experience is desired (Supply Chain/Operations or Business Management is preferred).

Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in any of the following: Supply Chain/Operation/Project Management or equivalent area.

Preferably has prior working knowledge and experience within the following Supply Chain related functions (Demand / Supply / Inventory / Production / Material / Capacity Planning / Warehousing / MRP and/or Optimization).

Experience with computer operations, cost/price analysis and practices.

APICS certification preferred.

Must demonstrate solid project management experience and leadership skills. Able to manage projects and teams to stay on task and delivery results on time.

Strong leadership and communication skills are required. Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Must demonstrate strong working knowledge of Supply Chain (inventory, logistics and warehousing) processes and systems.

Applicant must be able to work with multiple teams and functions to be effective and deliver lasting results.

Candidates must be highly organized, analytical and driven.

Previous change management and continuous improvement skills are desired.

Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills for interacting and collaborating with business partners throughout the organization.

Problem-solving aptitude with ability to think creatively.

Advanced computer skills required (IE: Microsoft Office, SharePoint).
