SafetyWing (YC W18) is seeking a visionary Head of Partnerships to scale up our Partnerships growth channel for Nomad Insurance and Nomad Health products.Partnerships with affiliates and content creators have successfully supported the tremendous growth of SafetyWing since its first product launch in 2019.Our influencer program (the ambassador program) was created in-house and designed according to our unique values of authenticity and simplicity. As a result, it has become the most strategic growth channel, accounting for more than 35% of sales.You will manage a team of Partnership Managers while working closely with the General Manager and the Chief Revenue Officer to achieve your goals.Your responsibilities will includeLead and grow a team of Partnership and Sponsorship Managers, ensuring they have the support and direction needed to meet the program's expansion goals. Set clear performance standards and encourage ongoing learning and improvement.Create a solid plan to grow the ambassador program from over 1,100 to 2,000 active influencers by the end of 2024 using iterative improvements and funnel techniques.Continuously refine growth strategies to expand the ambassador network. Use a funnel approach to find and fix bottlenecks and increase overall efficiency and growth.Propose and test various scaling strategies to find the most effective ways to grow the ambassador program quickly.Ensure the affiliate marketing team achieves its goals through strategic guidance, detailed reporting, and proactive problem-solving.Work closely with key partners to improve relationships and unlock their growth potential.We are looking for someone whoHas a proven track record and extensive experience in the partnerships field.Has a deep understanding of influencer marketing dynamics and partnership development, and is knowledgeable about current trends and strategies.Brings a successful history of managing and significantly expanding an affiliate or ambassador program, with a focus on innovative growth tactics and measurable outcomes.Can effectively motivate and guide a team of Partnership and Sponsorship Managers, building a culture focused on high performance, ongoing learning, and smart planning.Has a go-getter attitude: an entrepreneurial spirit who creatively solves problems and works independently.We like to work with people who: Want to help build a global social safety net on the Internet.Think for themselves instead of copying others.Are willing to try new things, even with the risk of failure.Are intellectually curious and open to new ideas.Are creative and bold in the face of any problems.Have strong integrity and do the right thing.What we offerWe operate in a fully remote work environment work from anywhere globally.You will receive salary and equity compensation, premium health insurance that works in most countries worldwide, travel insurance, a laptop, an office stipend, a minimum of four weeks of vacation per year, and a personal development budget.We also have fantastic annual team gatherings.
