Synerfac is seeking a Land Development Engineer for our client in Chantilly, VA. Our client is a multi-disciplinary firm of design professionals with the common goal of providing creative design solutions to today's challenging environment.

The Land Development Engineer is responsible for working on exciting and diverse projects of all sizes for both the public and private sectors. Project types include mixed-use/transit-oriented design, government facilities, residential, commercial, office, utilities and infrastructure, mission-critical/data centers, and more.

* Perform civil engineering land development design, including site planning, stormwater management, and infrastructure design for private sector clients and public sector/federal agencies.
* Manage and oversee the completion of diverse projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Civil Engineers, Landscape Architects, Planners, Security Consultants, and Surveyors.
* Prepare and review civil engineering plans and specifications using Civil3D/AutoCAD.
* Conduct site analysis and develop design solutions that address site-specific challenges and client requirements.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success.
* Participate in the strategic planning and implementation of company initiatives.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2 to 10 years of experience for Civil Engineer roles
- Proficiency in Civil3D/AutoCAD..
- Experience in land development design, including site planning, stormwater management, and infrastructure design.
- EIT or PE certification is a plus.
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
