The Senior Requirements Systems Engineer plays a pivotal role in steering engineering teams towards a comprehensive approach to requirements management, solutions development, scheduling, reliability, and integration across various geospatial intelligence systems. This position is essential for ensuring the delivery of precise and timely GEOINT services across national and allied agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor and guide mid-level and junior engineers in executing requirements management, solutions engineering, and system integration across multiple geospatial intelligence frameworks.
- Oversee the planning and traceability of user requirements, ensuring alignment with architectural frameworks and identifying opportunities for system automation and enhancements.
- Facilitate the development of solution designs by analyzing requirements and leveraging emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders to translate mission objectives into actionable systems and capability requirements.
- Support the allocation of requirements to system architecture components and assist in program execution.
- Engage in systems integration activities, ensuring seamless functionality across various platforms.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses including Alternatives Analysis (AoAs), Course of Actions (CoAs), and Engineering Assessments.
- Assist in strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, and risk management initiatives.
- Integrate multiple systems and processes within major acquisitions, navigating across organizational boundaries.

Required Skills and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or a related technical field such as engineering, physics, mathematics, or computer science.
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant technical experience is essential. Experience as a Requirements-focused Systems Engineer may substitute for a degree.
- Extensive experience in government or industry roles related to the DoD/IC Acquisition Process and systems engineering of complex systems.
- Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle.
- Possession of a TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain one and pass a polygraph examination.
- A Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of Software Development Frameworks.
- INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification.
- Experience in geospatial intelligence.
- Professional engineering licensure.
- Active participation in relevant professional organizations.
- Expertise in photogrammetry, remote sensing, and geographic information systems.
- Understanding of current geospatial intelligence enterprises.
