Sr Clinical Specialist A Day in the Life Primary responsibilities include building the Mozarc Medical CarpediemCardio-Renal Pediatric Dialysis Machine through clinical engagement activities. The incumbent will provide clinical leadership, education & training, and support to hospital organizations and acute dialysis facilities demonstrating interest in Mozarc therapies. Focus will be on successful education planning and implementation, active training using sound pediatric CRRT techniques, program growth and continuous improvement in practices and patient outcomes. Responsibilities Presents formal educational programs related to, but not limited to concepts, complications, troubleshooting, machine function, best demonstrated clinical practices, and optimization of clinical outcomes. Educates and trains clinicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to pCRRT product portfolio and related procedures. Provides training and resources for hospital staff to enable them to conduct training for their personnel. Works with Field Sales to foster and grow new business by presenting product line features to evaluation accounts. Receives clinical inquiries by customers. Researches solutions to questions or problems (e.g. catheter, emergency troubleshooting support). Provides the organization with clinical insights that improve the ability to meet emerging customer needs in pediatric CRRT. Provides up-to-date information on assigned product(s) to staff. Serves as a liaison between Clinical Support and Product Marketing to provide valuable feedback and input on product improvement and future enhancement features. Identifies clinical needs of assigned territory and communicates to applicable management. Keeps abreast of current accepted clinical practices and maintains knowledge base through professional training. Provides clinical support for on-call periods to clinical staff and responds to clinical questions. Builds productive working relationships. May be responsible for training new hire Clinical Support staff, as needed. Other duties as assigned. Must Have Bachelors degree of Nursing required. Minimum of 4 years of critical care experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience. Nice to Have 4+ years’ experience in the critical care area using renal replacement therapy with at least 2 years in pediatric CRRT experience. Certification in critical care, nephrology nursing or dialysis nursing preferred. Willing to travel throughout the U.S. region. This is a field-based position. Outcomes oriented (customer, patient, Mozarc). Team player (internal and external) with strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrate ability to identify, understand, and apply skills to meet clinical and business objectives. Time management, organizational skills for multiple projects and travel schedule.
